CONFIRMED TOURNAMENT

Star Wars Jedi Academy Release Tournament – 100

There will be a DCI sanctioned tournament on Tuesday June 30, 2009 at 31st Century in Olathe. 31st Century is in the SW corner of the intersection of 151st Street and Murlen. Phone # is (913)397-7706.

We will begin Setup and Registration at 6:00. Rounds will last 50 minutes. We will play Gambit rules, and each player must bring his own map.

This tournament will follow all normal rules for limited tournaments. Each player receives two boosters from which they will construct their squad. The entry fee will be $22; a great deal for two boosters. Because of this discount, there will not be any guaranteed prizes. We thought this would make the tournament friendlier and increase the players who come. So, come enjoy the new set, and do some trading!

Insert movie times and more without leaving Hotmail®. See how.

Thanks to the players who showed up.

As we discussed tonight, we have tentatively scheduled a standard 100 tournament on July 11th at 4PM.  I will send more information out once I have confirmed.

New set is okay.  Other than the new Luke & Leia, I don't see a lot that will change the meta of the game.

Younglings will probably be used with the new Quigon Trainer.

CONFIRMED TOURNAMENT

Star Wars Tournament – 100 Standard

There will be a DCI sanctioned tournament on Saturday July 11th, 2009 at 31st Century in Olathe. 31st Century is in the SW corner of the intersection of 151st Street and Murlen. Phone # is (913)397-7706.

This tournament will follow all normal rules for standard tournaments. Each player will construct a 100 point squad consistent with the faction rules.

We will begin Setup and Registration at 3:45 and the first round at 4:00. Rounds will last 60 minutes. We will play Gambit rules.

Maps will be determined according to the DCI-rules. This means each player must bring their own DCI-legal map, and must use this map in each round. If a player does not bring a map, and wins map choice, he must choose his opponents map.

Also, bring your Dynamic Duo squads, and we will run a quick tournament should we have time!

As always, updated information on all of Olathe Star Wars Miniatures tournaments can be found at: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=913662
