Subject: starship minis?

Did anyone (besides me) ever play that game, and if so, did you ever  
find a good rules set to use with the game?

I've seen a few, such as  Warcosm but I hate to put down good money  
sight unseen.

I played it with you!

=)

I had a lot of ideas of what I wanted to do with the game, but no, I never did much with it since I didn't have another player to enjoy the fruits of my ideas anyway.

Maybe someday they will get pulled out again.  I love the idea of having the 3D pieces around for a large scale tactical game or squadron based game, but I wasn't a fan of the "quick & easy" rules that the game came with.  They are fine for a quick get together, but not for a good wargame.

Just my opinion though.

I'm sure others disagreed.
