The first event will be on Thursday, Nov 12th.
The format is below.

CONFIRMED TOURNAMENT
Star Wars Minis - Hero Hunt 150
There will be a DCI sanctioned tournament on Thursday December 3rd, 2009 at 31st Century in Olathe. 31st Century is in the SW corner of the intersection of 151st Street and Murlen. Phone # is (913)397-7706.
This tournament will follow all normal rules for constructed tournaments, but subject to the following restrictions. The build is 150 points. Each squad can only have one unique character which is your team's hero. Once the hero is defeated, you have lost the match. Reserves and reinforcements are allowed, but can not be used to bring in unique characters.
We will begin Setup and Registration at 6:00. Rounds will last 60 minutes. We will play Gambit rules.
As a prize, I will be providing one figure from Jedi Academy of the "Rare" variety that I have a duplicate of. So, come enjoy the fresh format, and do some trading!

There will be a DCI sanctioned tournament on Thursday December 10th, 2009 at 31st Century in Olathe. 31st Century is in the SW corner of the intersection of 151st Street and Murlen. Phone # is (913)397-7706.

That means your squad can not have any fringe characters unless you are running a fringe-only squad. Reserves and reinforcements are allowed, but they must be consistent with your faction. Because not every faction has door control, any character that has the special ability override loses this ability. Any character with special ability affinity will lose this ability; the character can only be run in its original faction.

are other folks still going to be there? I'm certainly still in if others are around (and I'm pretty psyched about my team, actually), but it is a long drive for me, so it would be nice to know that others will be there.
