What are some good places to eat while at First Friday's. I assume
their are few drinking establishments in the area, but haven't seen
much as for food.

Thanks

if you're only down here for first fridays, park the car and head
north. attempting to walk in to lulu's or grinder's right at the peak
hour may be a bit frustrating if you don't like to wait. here are some
of my favorites that will probably be a little less crowded, even
though the streets are packed a mere four blocks away:

- 12baltimore (12th and baltimore)
- azul (11th and grand)
- drum room (14th and baltimore)

crown center is also not at all far of a walk. while the food court
places don't stay open very late, you'll find mostly pricier fare:

- panera (open 'til 7 most nights)
- milano
- skies
- morton's
- the american
- benton's

and last, but not least, there are loads of mexican restaurants a few
blocks down on southwest boulevard (ponak's, el patron, taqueria
mexico).

Thanks for the info. I will have to give those a try next time I'm
down in the area. I ended up going to the BBQ place, I believe it was
called Smoky Joe's or something.

Thanks
