Google TTS

Starting this to not hijack the other topic. :)

If you are already using google translate for TTS, and don't like the voice, I am not sure how using mine should change it? I am using the same, just in english and danish.

Sounds very machine-like and slow. Are There any parameters to enhance the voice? I didn't find any documentation back then.

I am doing the same, but I don't think it is that bad (at least in english). It clearly does not sound like a person speaking, but still, it is a lot better than the karotz TTS. With karotz, it can't even say mail. I don't think there are any other voices or settings, except the different languages.

The karotz' voice has two undocumented (you guessed it,right ?) parameters: "rate" and "mood" and the "happy german voice" sounds ok. You can check out the parameters in the wizz.cc-class.

Just tried them, can't hear any difference... Except being back to the same problem with no way of knowing when it is done talking...
