Subject: PFA Awards Deadline is this Friday!!!

Brothers,

*The deadline for the PFA award submissions is this Friday, April 27*.
Please finish up your applications and submit them *electronically* to me
at (*rkwilh...@gmail.com*). Like I said before, we have done well to grab
some of these awards in the past, and I hope to have a repeat performance
again this year! We are blessed to have a large, proud, and active
brotherhood, and receiving these awards really reflects positively on our
fraternity and shows off the awesomeness that is Kappa Psi to the rest of
the world! If you haven't started filling out an application yet, there is
still time for you to get it done. I would rather have too many
applications to submit than not enough. I am attaching my original email
below that explains each award and the history of the PFA. Please feel free
to contact me if you have any questions!

Proud to be your brother,
Rick Wilhoit

Greetings Brothers!

For those of you that I haven't met yet, my name is Rick Wilhoit and I am
your Public Relations Committee Chairperson.
*
Do you know of any outstanding brothers who have gone above-and-beyond in
their commitment to our brotherhood?
Has our fraternity implemented a professional project or program of merit?
Has your chapter done any outstanding community service projects?
Does your Kappa Psi faculty advisor have an exemplary relationship with the
chapter?
Is there an **active brother who deserves recognition for nationally or
internationally renowned career achievements? *

These are questions we should all be considering! I imagine many of you
answered yes to at least some of these questions, and if so, I highly
encourage you to nominate that brother or chapter for a *Professional
Fraternity Association (PFA) award*! We have done well to grab some of
these awards in the past, and I hope to have a repeat performance again
this year! We are blessed to have a large, proud, and active brotherhood,
and receiving these awards really reflects positively on our fraternity and
shows off the awesomeness that is Kappa Psi to the rest of the world!

****Last year Brother Eric Gupta received the Outstanding Volunteer of the
Year Award, and Epsilon Gamma received the Outstanding Professional Program
Award.****

There is plenty of time to get these award applications together, and I
will be sending out reminders as we approach the nomination deadline. The
application packets need to be completed and submitted *electronically* to
me (*rkwilh...@gmail.com*) by *April 27, 2012.* Please follow the
application instructions exactly as described to be considered for an
award. The nominations will be reviewed by the PR committee, the Executive
Director, and the Grand Regent, and then we will submit them to the PFA by
their required deadline.

I am posting below a description of each award, the appropriate links, and
some more information on the Professional Fraternity Association (PFA). If
you have any questions, please feel free to email me and I will get back to
you as soon as possible!

Proud to be your brother,

Rick Wilhoit, PharmD
Public Relations Chairperson
