I'm providing this info from JeffS in "digested" form, in the hope that another person (on our new "legal subteam"?) will be motivated to make some edits to the doc directly -- but if no one picks up the pen, just please be sure to record any discussion and conclusions so that I can get to it later.
1. Need to list out actual legal implications; so far there are none identified as such. Need to answer "what legal issues I need to consider and what the consequences might be when developing/implementing/using UMA".
2. Consider making the brief summary of UMA into an appendix, and/or excerpt it separately as a layman's intro to UMA. (See attached marked-up Word comments -- thanks a ton for these, Jeff! In fact, if we find that the result is a good one/two-pager for a general audience, this is exactly the kind of thing the Kantara marketing folks have been asking for...and exactly the kind of thing we may ask our speakers of Polish, Italian, etc. to translate.)
3. Provide stubs for any sections that don't appear yet, to signal what's coming and to help different people contribute small sections as they're able.
Other ideas I had in my back-and-forth with Jeff:
4. Maybe consider moving the Terms Negotiation scenarios material to this document. Right now only the "requester identification" (should be "requesting party identification"!) and the null-claims scenarios are fleshed out.
5. Comb through the notes from the last offline session we had with TomS and the follow-on WG telecon, so as not to miss any of the conclusions we came to.
Finally, note that Domenico stands ready to help with diagram changes and additions. He's got some cool ideas for how to illustration "legal use cases", so please feel free to communicate needs along these lines.
