WEST COAST SWING Workshop w/ Kyle & Aimy Patel
This is a great opportunity to learn and enjoy the West Coast Swing!
The workshop will be taught by Kyle & Aimy Patel who have danced West
Coast Swing with much success at competitions throughout the USA and
have reignited excitement in swing dancing in the Kansas City Area.
Refreshments Provided
1:00 pm: West Coast Swing FUN-Damentals (All Levels)
2:00 pm: Whips & Wraps (All Levels)
3:00 pm: Cool Turn Patterns (All Levels)

What: Workshops in SPRINGFIELD, MO with Aimy and Kyle
Where: Savoy Ballroom - 224 E. Commercial Street, Springfield, MO
65803
Join Anne and Andy Walls for an evening filled with some rockin' great
west coast swing! We will have Kyle and Aimy Patel, event directors
for Midwest Westie Fest, teaching 2 west coast workshops. Both Kyle
and Aimy are accomplished west coast dancers who dance competitively
on both WSDC and NASDE swing circuits. You do not want to miss these
workshops!
After the workshops, we will have a dinner option available (pasta,
salad and bread) and lot of dancing! Cash bar will be available too!
Workshops at 5 and 6pm
Dinner at 7pm
Dance at 8pm
With Dinner:
$35 for workshops, dinner and dance
$30 if registered by April 9 or if you are coming from out of town
(Dinner option is not available after April 9)
Without Dinner:
$25 for workshops and dance
A la carte:
$15 per workshop

Ever wonder what that line dance is that we do to Usher's "Yeah" ?
Well it's called Cadillac Ride and Kyle Patel will be teaching it next
month!!
Cost: $20 for all 2 hours
We'll play the song that evening at our fourth saturday dance so
everyone can practice!!!

One more update for those of you who are in for a road trip!
When:March 31 at 2:00pm until April 1 at 12:00am
What: West Coast Swing Workshops with Kris Swearingen and KSU Swing
and Salsa Pub Crawl!!!
Where: Douglass Coummunity Center - 901 Yuma St, Manhattan, KS
66502-5559
Kris Swearingen, a professional West Coast Swing dancer, will be
coming to Manhattan for 2 fun filled workshops of West Coast Swing!
Kris has competed all over the United States winning multiple Jack and
Jills in the All Star Division as well as traveling with his partner
Rebecca Ludwick competing in the classic routine division.
Tentative Schedule:
Workshop 1: 2:00pm
Workshop 2: 3:00pm
After the workshops conclude, the club will be taking Kris out to
dinner as well as aggieville for the night for some dancing in the
ville!
We would like as many people to be there as possible so we can have
alot of fun! I will be inviting dancers from the Kansas City area as
well!
We hope all of you can attend!!! Get Excited!!
