Hey Michelle,
I would say that you might want to try using actuarial recruiters like DW. Simpson and Stewart Search (they are no cost to you, the company that selects you pays a fee..I think it's a % of salary plus one year bonus retention for the recruiter). The downside to using a recruiter can be that your salary level might be stifled because companies do take the recruiter fee into consideration sometimes. If you are already using a recruiter without luck, I might suggest exploring outside of areas that you may not necessary see as ideal. For instance, I love the east coast, but ended up with a job in CT at one point...not my favorite place, but the opportunity was right.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend going back to school or seeking an outside profession as a stopgap usually because that means a bigger uphill climb you may have when you go to find your next job.
The last option, if you speak fluent Korean, may be to work as a exPat in Korea...only issue with that is that most of the jobs are pension and retirement related so if you aren't interested in those fields, you are out of luck (for instance, my specialty is in Health care which makes it nearly impossible for me to jump into that market unless I do some uncommon consulting type work over there).
Let me know if you need any more information. If you are more specific about what you are looking for + resume + interests, etc, maybe I can help.
Good luck with the search,
G
