Dear KAAS members,
Please be advised that membership structure has changed effective
January 1, 2012. All existing members can retain their membership only
if they pay membership dues. A payment can be made online through
PayPal to
Korean...@gmail.com account. Payment function will also
be available on our website (
http://www.KoreanActuary.org/) once it is
launched. Below is the current membership structure and associated
fees:
- Regular membership is granted to practitioners that pay annual dues
of $200 (or $20 per month)
- Student membership is granted to students that pay (reduced) annual
dues of $100 (or $10 per month)
- Special membership is granted to sponsors/contributors in
recognition of monetary or non-monetary contribution to the Society
- All others that have not paid membership dues are considered non-
members
Dues are paid on a calendar year basis. Prospective members will owe
an amount equal to a lower of the full annual amount or sum of the
remaining monthly payments. Monthly installments are also available.
All attendees at the 1-27-2012 general meeting paid membership dues.
We will issue a formal acknowledgement of your payment. Thank you
again for your support and membership. We will shortly issue a formal
acknowledgement receipt for your payment.
The collected dues will be used for the ongoing Society projects,
including website implementation and maintenance, mentoring program,
membership training, media activities (e.g., newsletter production),
etc. All transactions will be recorded and communicated with all
members. A formal annual financial statement will be issued and posted
online in September.
If you have any questions, feel free to reply here or email me.
Thanks,
