For the first time I am using an istallation of K2 minus the sidebar
manager. At first I thought you guys stopped implementing it because
the Wordpress Widget was basically the same. Well it isn't. The
Wordpress Widget makes no sense at all. If you add a widget it shows
up on every page. To me going from the SBM to WW is like going back to
the dinosaur days. So if I want to have my widget appear on a certain
page I have to mess with the code or download a plugin that will do
what WW should do in the first place. I love K2 and I appreciate all
the hard work you guys have put into it. I love that I can take this
simple designed Mega-Theme and mold into something magnificent... But
damn I really miss the Sidebar Manager!

The SBM is mostly still there. WP 2.8.5 + K2 817

K2 OPTIONS
>Appearance >Widgets Manager (very top option)
***K2 has a neat sidebar system that allows you to control where/when
each widget can appear.

...after you do the above the following dashboard item will be under
Appearance
<< K2 Widgets Manager >> and inside of that... you can click on the { i
} to select which pages your widget appears on.

While we are on the subject... I DO REALLY REALLY REALLY like K2.
