Hi,

The K2 (v1.0-RC7) theme's live search is not functioning properly
after upgrading from WordPress 2.7.1 to 2.8. Please take a look at
the search widget in the sidebar at http://bazargan.org/.

Could someone please help me to resolve this issue.

Maybe the nightly update will take care of this?

Sure it will, although not sure how soon.

Looks like you modified the default styles.css file directly. You
should move your customizations to its own style sheet, and upgrade to
the latest nightly.

I shall make the necessary changes as you have suggested. Thank you
for informing about the links, they are very useful.

I upgraded to latest nighly upgrade (k2-1.0-RC7.4) in my local system
and now the Live Search is working fine in WP2.8.

No go for me! I updated K2 to the RC7.4 nightly, and am still having
this error. The problem seems to be related to another error that I'm
now having: Almost none of the pages (in the HTML sense) on my site
load completely; the footer template doesn't seem to load anymore,
leaving a bunch of tags open. Only Pages (in the wp sense) with
sidebarless=yes set (i.e., that don't display the sidebars) load the
footer, but of course without the sidebar, I can't test whether AJAX
search is working.

compare with this sidebarless page:

Try disabling the "吹石運転所BLOG" RSS widget. OR whatever
widget that follows that one.

Good thought: It wasn't the RSS widget, but the Links widget below it…
the one we didn't see because it was being buggy :D

So, is the problem with the Links widget with WP or with K2, I wonder…

Well, I take that back. The page completed rendering out…I got the
footer now, but still no AJAX.
