Subject: Security issues in K2?
Hi

I am a big fan of K2, so I use it for quite some sites.

Now I have been attacked by a hacker in the recent week. I don't know
how he came in to my site. Maybe it was a security issue at my host
(Dreamhost). But I am thinking about, how secure the K2-theme is?
Especially because it hasn't been updated so much recently.

1. People talk about a problem with Timthumb. Is that an issue with
K2?
2. Is it better for me to use the latest theme downloaded from here:
http://getk2.com/nightly/  than the rc 1.1 or the 1.0.3?
3. Could my experience with a hacker be beacuse of K2?

It's highly doubtful that K2 has anything to do with it.

Hi Michael

That sounds good:-) Then I will happily continue to use K2.

Is there a benefit in using the latest nightly build instead of the rc
1.1?

Brgds
Knut

I honestly don't know; I haven't kept up to date for a while :)
