Hi: I hope all of the kids out there in the various states are getting
a valuable phys educ program. I am a phys educ teacher in Illinois
(grades kg - 8) and also a gymnastic coach. I would be very interested
in hearing what kids around the country like and dislike about their
current phys educ program in their schools. Also, if you have any phys
educ or gymnastic questions, I will be more than happy to try to answer
them. I am a strong advocate of the physical fitness testing program.
I have access to a computer program that can take your scores and print
out a "fitness analysis" sheet for you which will show you how you did
and rank you to other boys or girls your age across the nation. I will
be more than happy to get this info for you and send it via internet if
you are interested. I would need the following info:
Name birthdate male or female
scores on any or all of the following tests:
one minute sit-ups
push-ups
pull-ups
bent-arm hang
sit and reach
50 yard
100 yard
1 mile run
2 mile run
shuttle run
standing long jump

scores.
