Here are the brief details for JusticeLeague 2006 coming up THIS SUNDAY. The Bay to Breakers starts at 8:00am, but this year we are going to try to break into the top 10,000. Heh, The Flash does not think this will be possible for himself. However, Professor Superman and Aquawoman will probably do it.
Thus, we are going to meet up at "the front of the pack", as close as we can get to the seeded runners, at 7:00 AM. Prepare to be a bit chilly, but this will put us in good position to finish in the top 10,000.
The Flash Fone will be online and operational to coordinate hook-ups before or after the race: 415-317-1535. Standard operating procedure of meeting at letter "J" for JUSTICE in the stands still applies.
If you think you are going to run, drop me a line. Otherwise, pics will be posted at the traditional place: http://justiceleague.org.
Folks, I came on the first BART from the East Bay last year, so I got there about 6:30, and it was already touch and go to get up by the sub-seeded runners. I recommend meeting by 6:30 or 6:45 at the latest. The forecast is rain, so come prepared. The come-on for getting there early (and standing in the rain for 90 minutes) is that you can run 12 min miles and get into the top 10,000 (just barely). The cutoff is generally around 1:32 - 1:34, do the math. My time last year was 1:27 and I was 7795.
