ciao a tutti

heads up for our next meeting, number 12 (wow!), the last one before
we break for the summer season + south africa world cup, jazoon10,
etc.

we are back on a Thursday evening, 27/5 at 630pm at the University of
Lugano.

this time we are focusing on technologies for the mobile sector. It is
an hot topic for many companies and market traction is undiscussed,
hence it is time to take a closer look at what's going on on that
front.

After years spent developing with J2ME, Fabrizio Giudici (Tidalwave)
has recently moved to Android, and started to fiddle with his Droid.
Fabrizio will introduce and compare two java-based mobile
technologies, namely Android and JavaFX.

Giannandrea Castaldi (Ex Machina) will address technologies for the
iPhone platform. He has a java background and started developing
applications in Objective-C since 2008. Giannandrea will give us an
introductory talk on the language and the development platform from a
java developer perspective.
