dear juggers,

we are currently trying to set up a day-long training course on Java Cryptography. The course will be delivered by Jeff Lawson, professional software developer and trainer at Cogent Logic Ltd., UK. An introduction to the topic and a course abstract can be found in attachment to this message.

The goal of the course is to empower Java programmers who have little or no experience of cryptography. Each concept
will be explained and sample Java code discussed. During the training course, lab exercises provide hands-on materials so delegates can implement code on their devices. Fully-working solutions will be provided.

A maximum of twenty delegates will be acceptable for the training course. The training is offered free of costs for the attendees.

On the evening of the same day of the training it might be possible to deliver a two-hour presentation covering the same topic in a more compact fashion. There would be no attendance limit for the evening presentation.

Anyone interested in taking the training course please email to me at sebastiano at juglugano dot ch. In your email please specify if you would prefer to attend the training on a week day or on a saturday, or if it is irrelevant to you.
The course is expected to be delivered on a day between mid March and end of April, roughly...the precise venue in Lugano is still to be confirmed.

hope this opportunity is of interest to many of you

soon
ciao!
