Without any doubt;-)

Don't you agree that JVM technology especially in the light of adding the invokedynamic and nice scalability extensions for massive multicore systems are more important to Java eco system than some syntactic sugar in Java 7.

That's all he's saying and I'm not that interested in psychoanalysis;-)
