Friends -- I just came across this, and plan to look into it for use in the Banyan Project: http://codeforamerica.org/2012/06/05/announcing-textizen-citizen-feedback-for-the-digital-age/
It looks like a great citizen engagement tool, and while the people who invented it presume governments would use it, my guess is that it would work even better for Web journalism sites. And it/s free.
