I always presume everyone knows this, but maybe not. So this is just a
reminder that J-Lab is already collecting data on hyperlocal community news
sites. We use a narrower definition than what placeblogger uses, which is
fine.

We have 850 sites listed and scores more to be added soon. It's a
deliverable on my Knight grant.

It has a survey on the back end that allows researchers to do advanced
searches. You for the mash-up map, you can search by city or state or
individual site name, etc.
