A brief introduction

Bill Densmore invited me to introduce myself to the list.
My name is Colin Rhinesmith. I’m Community Media & Technology Manager
for Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) and Adjunct Lecturer for the
Media and Culture Program at Bentley University. Before coming to
CCTV, I worked for the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at
Harvard University, where I produced projects for MediaBerkman and the
Citizen Media Law Project.
As the Manager for CCTV's NeighborMedia (http://www.cctvcambridge.org/
neighbormedia) citizen journalism program, I am particularly
interested in the intersection of community media participation, media
policy and the future of news.
I am organizing the Citizen Journalism and Social Media Track for the
Alliance for Community Media Conference, July -10 in Pittsburgh, which
may be of interest to some of this list: http://www.alliancecm.org/2010conf_theme
