I have a Yaesu FT-897D and a Signalink USB interface. My computer is
running Windows 7 64 bit version.
I've had great success running 20 Meter PSK31 using Airlink Express
software, and also have successfully used MultiPSK and HRD / DM780. I
am now trying to get JT65-HF on 20 Meters (14.076 MHz) to work, but
not luck.
I am running Dimension 4 to sync my clock.
I have my TX audio level set so that there is no ALC level.
I have my RX level adjusted to "0" with no signal present.
I can hear lots of JT65 signals, but can't decode any of them. The
timing seems to be off by 20 seconds (but I don't understand this
because I am running Dimension 4). The received signals don't start
at the top of the minute, and don't end until 20 seconds after the
minute.
I tried calling CQ multiple times, but don't see any stations seeing
my signal on pskreporter.info. I see lots of stations seeing my
signal when I use PSK31.
I would say that Dimension 4 is not working at the moment. With Vista and Win 7, an application must be run as an administrator in order to modify portions of the software, such as the clock. So make sure that Dimension 4 is running as administrator.

Don This is Don zl1atb in reply They should start on the minute and end I "think its 47? Seconds" later . This should be left at the default values Try running jt65hf on its own By that I mean turn off hrd or commander as a rig control And just run jt65 from a default installation Maybe uninstall jt65 and do a new install
You should be able to decode Set up dim 4 as well, make sure you hear signals start on the minute,Try a manual tx to make sure you are sending on the right time. Dont change any options in jt65 until you do Only when you have all that confirmed as working would I allow hrd Or what ever rig software to control your jt65 software Don zl1atb

I "ASSUMED" that since I was running Dimension 4, that my clock "had"
to be set to the right time. I just compared my PC clock to WWV and
guess what . . . it was off by 20 seconds!
I am now running Dimension 4 in administrator mode, and all is well.
I had my first QSO to Van Nuys, CA, and have lots of reports showing
on pskreporter.info. Thank you SO MUCH for your expert and timely
help. I can now go to sleep tonight!
