jsTree 0.9.9.a Sarissa does not work with IE 6 and 8 if a xml datasource is used :-(

Hi,

I have big problems with the IE, especially version 6 and 8. I tried
to use jsTree with that browser and getting for about 4 hours only an
error, that s.th. got wrong with the XML transformation. After some
debugging I found out that the sarissa lib is throwing this error.
I'm searching now about 2 hours for a fix of this but doesn' find any
information how I can fix this. Can you tell me how this could be
fixed very quickly? The problem is my project budget is nearly
exceeded because of zthe problems I had with usage of jsTree and
struts2 as webframework :-(.

My target platform is the IE 6.0.

Ahh I've forgotten to tell you that I have also tried the demos, but
it is the same with your demo code. No tree is displayed instead I
only see a Loading ring.

Can you please provide the error string at least and maybe your XML
file? Make sure you return the right header.
I am clueless until you give me a bit more info.

I navigated to:
http://jstree.com/demo/basic_xml_flat
and in IE6 all was fine.

That's strange, using the included demo in your downloadable package jsTree 0.9.9.a has the error, but the demo on your site works... is there any difference between these two demos?

P.S.: I've attached the error IE8 gives me on the local demo (sorry that this is a german version, but I don't see any more error information in IE)

Just to make sure - are you running the example off a web server? You
should not run the file from the filesystem, but rather using a web
server. You can install your own (xampp for example - http://apachefriends.com).
