After typing out Foo.jstalkextra more than a coupe of times, I'm not
sure it's the greatest extension to have. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

.jste?
.jstx?
.jxtra?

.jstalkx ? Or why not .jstalk ? If a .jstalk is one file, it's a
script, if it's a dir it's a bundle. As you expect them in Library/
Application Support/JSTalk/Extras, it shouldn't cause problems.

I don't want to cause confusion with the extensions. Yes, I know we
can check if it's a text file or not- but the end user can't, and
won't understand why some of them open in the editor, and others don't.

I like .jspack, and recently .jstra come up. I'm still musing on it
though, since nothing has really stuck to me. I do like that .jspack
might equal "a package of good js stuff".

well, continuing on the idea of packages, what about .jspkg
or, within the java=coffee theme, .cream
(macrabbit's espresso is already using .sugar)

.jsnib to keep the Cocoa metaphor ?

So after just letting this percolate a bit, I'm thinking that renaming
the Extras folder to "Plug-ins" and using .jstplugin is probably the
best way to go, since it's a bit of a standard and it's easy. "Put
the jstplugin in the Plug-ins folder" makes more sense than "Put the
jspack (or whatever) into the Extras folder…".

Unless someone has a really really good case for otherwise?
