Procedure calls that return no values

I have a procedure that does not return a value. It's not a
notification because I wish to wait until the procedure call has
completed.

How does the reply get encoded? I may have been missed something in
the spec but it's not obvious to me.

Can definitely do that. I was wondering if there was something more definitive that would be needed in the spec. I guess it's up to the person mapping their procedures on top of JSON-RPC to decide that.
