Yeah, this has been my thesis since the 2008 election. I think the first time we all got a good look at the edges of this problem was during troopergate. I specifically recall authoring a post that included notes about the governor's security lead going to speak with Todd over what should have been a State of Alaska matter. No one picked up on it at the time, as it was pretty hard to do more than draw inference.
I guess these emails are the smoking gun that our inference was right! -- Just observing
