Let the debate begin. Still, it gets much harder from here on out. Upon their return from the Thanksgiving recess, assuming Democrats prevail on the vote, they will launch into weeks or more of unpredictable debate on the health care bill, with numerous amendments expected from both sides of the aisle and more 60-vote hurdles along the way. A final won't be likely until before the Xmas break.

Plenty of time for Republicans to act like utter buffoons and make bizarre and ridiculous claims on the floor of the Senate that are easily debunked.

Official vote is in T-minus 1.5 hours, but looks like all 60 votes are on board. I never did read anything that said why Lieberman caved in after he said he wouldn't. I mean, I can just assume he's the yellow back, spineless, caver, who can't keep his word on anything like I've always thought of him, but I haven't heard the official story.
