I was under the impression that Firefox didn't cache files requested via
ajax, so you would need to reload the files on each page load regardless
of what you did?

I honestly would have to look into that further.  The statement "These
days I typically take a zero page refresh approach to my sites"
basically nulifies the issue since there is only one page load per
user session on these sites.  Regardless, I think you are correct
about loading all the files again on page refresh. But the error that
my post was in response to was addressed in this post:
