Hi,

Is JSAN still an alive project or simply dead / failed experiment? It
looks like something is updated continously (mtime value changes in
the main page), but my uploads are not processed. I didn't get any
errors during upload, so I assume that it was successful. Can someone
give me a clue? I've asked that before (some months ago), but did not
get any attention. Should I wait (for enernity?) or simply discard
JSAN?

TIA

I hope not. Those of us that work on it are just limited for time.

What module? I'll take a look.

Burak,

Both of your modules were processed properly now. I've discovered a
bug in the uploader that does not properly strip the path off files
uploaded from Windows.

I'll probably have it worked out by tomorrow. I'll post again when
I believe the problem is resolved and in production.

I checked in a fix last night, and update the production site. Uploads from
windows should be working properly now.

Let us know if otherwise.

Thanks.

I've uploaded Widget.Chmod yesterday (Widget.Chmod-0.3.tar.gz), but it
does not appear in the site..?

Hrm, sure enough, same problem. I updated the db row so, next index it
should find and process your module. I'll have to go back to testing this
tonight.

Hey Guys,

A while ago I'd written a quick email to this group to tell everyone that I was putting together a Web Based JavaScript IDE.

I've got really close to something basic, with collapsible code sections, code complete (intellisense), syntax validation - and error descriptions, line numbers and Support in IE, Firefox, and Opera. The idea is to put a face on the IDE in the form of a "social network" of JavaScript collaborations with a focus on open source projects - and a bunch of helpful programmers.

My application does a lot as far as parsing JavaScript code into objects that you can traverse VIA whatever methodology you like ... also it's all JavaScript so it's 100% extendable on the client side ... you could do anything you like with it (it could be easily extended to many other languages)! That's merely the tip of the iceberg.

I have not worked on it for a while and hence it's sitting in that 75% complete state waiting for me to spend more time on it (I'm building the 'Window Manager' stuff and am in part waiting for a simple public implementation of this - any hints would help). Is this something that would interest this group? I originally joined this group as I thought it would be nice to integrate JSAN in all it's glory into my application (give JSAN a public easy to view face).

If anyone has any thoughts, or would like to participate please let me know! I'm getting more busy and don't have tons of time to work on this anymore.

My hope is that this IDE will become an open source website where people can contribute to the IDE or to the community.

Cheers,

Matt

Sounds like an interesting idea...

Since you are talking about "window manager"s you might find bindows
useful:

http://www.bindows.net/

not open source though...
