Hi Everybody!

I'm happy to announce that April's meetup is taking place at tomorrow,
Thursday 19th, 19:00,
at Co Up.

Quick Links:

All infos as usual on http://berlinjs.org/

Location info & map: http://co-up.de/ & http://g.co/maps/99nxu

We have a bunch of goodies prepared for you:

- Rebecca Murphy will talk about the essential workflows of modern
web development.
If you still FTP files to a server, this one is for you. If you don't,
there's still plenty of things
you can learn to improve your work.

- Joan Wolkerstorfer and Katrin K. will tell you about the recent
success of Railsgirls Berlin.
Our goal is to inspire you to help out with their next or similar
events. This is important! :)

- Jan Lehnardt (excuse the third person writing) signed up for two
lightning talks, one about
hugs.js and the other about the Semicolon Debate.

There’s still room for one more talk (20-30 minutes) and one or two
lightning talks (5-10
minutes each) if you have a last minute topic that we should totally
not miss. We’d like
to encourage new speakers especially, let us know if you need any help
getting started.

* * *

Last month, we exceeded(!) the capacity for the back room at Co Up so
not everybody
could see all talks. It turned out that it didn't matter much because
may of you formed
a lively hallway track in the lounge. We're very happy to see that we
can deal with the
situation and we'd love the hallway track to continue. Nevertheless,
we also want to
make sure everybody can see all talks. To that end, we’ll be setting
up Audio and Video
mirroring so you won't miss a thing!

Thanks for making @BerlinJS such a success :)

Spread the word and see you tomorrow!

Hey Pär,

welcome to Berlin :)

You don't need to sign up anywhere, just show up at Co Up :) (the first time it can be a bit tricky to find, so make sure you study the Google Maps link :)

The talks are in English and there are usually many non-native Germans here :)

With this, I think I used up all my smilies.

Cheers

Is the meetup always on the third thursday of each month? I had hoped to attend but Python-Berlin is also 19:00 on the third Thursday of the month.

Cheers,
Tim ^,^

Yup.

We are aware. I'm not sure who picked the day first, but looking for alternatives, there's always something or other going on in Berlin, so we stuck to what we started with way back when. I don't think there's a good solution to this, sorry :(
