selectable selected elements by default

I was wondering if there was a way to have selectable select certain
elements in my container by default when it is initialised?

Whoops that's wrong (though it gave the correct answer in my trivial
test case).
My first answer would break if any pane contained other lists with <a>
tags.
This is more robust:
$("#tabs>ul>li>a").eq(1).attr( "href") // finds the href of the
second tab.
This could be made real easy if you added a mnemonic helper-class, say

You need a space between the type and src attributes in the script
tag.

As you can see several extensions are in the works. This takes time.
That said, a number of third parties have themeable components.
jqGrid, for example is a fantastic grid control.
There are others.
Note for the lads: it might be good to maintain a list of themable

I had the same issue. Mu solution was to modify the jquery.ui.js file to
append the dialog to the form instead of the body.
I have to admit, that bit me when I upgraded to 1.7.2 and forgot I did that,
however, it works perfectly.

I missed this email somehow...
I moved all css to the top and all js to the bottom (in their own files)
Thanks for the tips - I'm seeing a *much* better improvement in loading times.
Removed the sparklines - they were chewing up too much.
Can't use CDN - some users of this tool won't have internet access.
