Thanks for getting this process moving Jörn.
Just so everyone knows, Scott J. has created static html markup pages
in svn for all the 1.6 widget that show the new markup and framework
styles in action. These are also embedded into iframes on each of the
plugin wiki pages. These should serve as the reference for all the
script re-work.
For example, check out section 4.2 for the iframe demo:
http://jqueryui.pbwiki.com/Tab
Which just embeds this svn page:
http://jquery-ui.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/tests/static/tabs.html
Each page contains the default config option for each plug and maybe a
few variations. To make sure everything is covered,Maggie is going to
be going through each of the 1.6rc3 plugin documentation pages to make
sure our static markup and style pages cover all the core options. For
example, the date picker calendar page has examples 4 different
examples based on different option combinations and we'll be adding at
least 2 more soon.
http://jqueryui.pbwiki.com/DatePickerCalendar
Once this is done, we need to do thorough browser QA on the new CSS
but that can happen in conjuntion with the plugin updates because the
classes and markup shouldn't change at this stage.
Maggie will plan on posting a message when she has finished checking
all the options out for each plugin and has a 100% final markup page.
This should all be wrapped up in the next 2-3 days.
I also just marked all the 1.6rc3 widgets as such in the matrix and
set their priority to high because these were completely lost before.
Now they sort up near the top of the grid.
