As of this morning, I finally have a Closure-compiler compatible build of 
jQuery that passes all the current unit tests if FireFox (I haven't test 
extensively in other browsers yet, but I don't anticipate major issues).

However, my personal git fork is a minor disaster so I'll be deleting the 
current repository and re-forking. I'll then re-integrate my changes 
(something I'm getting pretty fast at) and push them for review.

Based on the current branch/tag discussion for 1.8, what should I use as 
the source reference?
