Is there a way to make the header and footer anchor to the top and
bottom of the browser window/screen, while the body still scrolls?
I'd just use iframe, but they don't render in Mobile Safari.

Iframes render just fine, but they require two finger scrolling

What about wrapping the ul in a div styled with position: absolute,
and overflow: scroll? Would this result in the same two-finger
behavior as an iframe? I use the Google Maps API, which uses divs, and
I can scroll around in them just fine...

Looking for similar functionality.
Has anyone successfully use jqTouch & iScroll (http://cubiq.org/
scrolling-div-for-mobile-webkit-turns-3/16)?

The iScroll works, but jqTouch js code seems to be disabled.

@Aaron: from my brief test it ended like iframe, needing 2 fingers.

I still haven't seen a strategy that works, and iframes don't render
on iphone.

aha! Thanks Chris. At the time I posted, I didn't know to search
"toolbar" instead of "header"
