Set jqPlot chart parameters from json

Hi all,
newbie question:
is it possible to create a chart with jqPlot, reading both data and
series styles from a single json file?

I already made some charts reading data from json, with multiple
series and it works fine.

I think that the only way to have "this" style applied to "that" serie
can be done while creating the json file: that is, the logic is in a
php file that query a database and then creates the json output.

Hope I explained in a clear way.
