I'm looking for a sample LMK file I can use for my simulation...
could anyone provide me with either the file or its content??

I tried to create a file wit a random LMK in it but it's not working
I don't know if it should have any different extension or contain some
specific
content...

If you have the source code the following
"modules\security\src\org\jpos\security\jceadapter\JCESecurityModule.java"'
has a private void generateLMK ()...

You can try this:

  java -jar jpos.jar -c "smconsole -lmk /tmp/my.lmk -rebuildlmk; shutdown
--force"

It will create a /tmp/my.lmk file that will look like this (please note
values are random and change from call to call)
