Dear Friends of Religious Education in the Joseph Priestley District,

This is a quick note to express a warm welcome to Pat Infante, the new
Program Consultant for the Joseph Priestley District. Many of you
have heard by now that Pat will be directing the JPD Lifespan Faith
Development team when I depart on June 30. At least for the time
being, she will also retain supervision of our Growth & Extension
efforts in the JPD. These ministries are, I believe, closely linked.
I can think of no better person to bring them together under one
roof.

I am so pleased to be leaving the lifespan faith development work in
good hands. Pat knows our district well. She is hard-working, patient,
experienced, and smart as all get-out. Pat knows her stuff when it
comes to congregational systems, growth, religious education,
management, and strategic planning, among other things. I think her
broad range of skills will be just what the Joseph Priestley District
needs to build connections between many different constituencies. You
will enjoy working with her. I know I have enjoyed being her
colleague on the JPD staff for the past two years.

Harlan Limpert, UUA District Services Director, had this to say about
the experience Pat brings to her new role:

"Pat is a life-long UU who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience
in faith development having served as the DRE of the Unitarian
Universalist Church in Cherry Hill, NJ for nine years. She served as
Director for Growth and Extension for the past two years for the JPD
where she provided staff leadership for the Growth & Extension
Committee, the regional growth committees and new congregation
development. Over the past several years she has led numerous
workshops on growth, mission, vision, religious education strategic
planning, RE retreats and DRE start-ups. She has also been a Co-Track
Leader at the UU Leadership Team Institute for the past two summers."

Speaking of the UU Leadership Team Institute, if you'd like to spend
some time with Pat and become familiar with her brilliance and wisdom,
I highly recommend signing up for UULTI. Go to http://www.uulti.org/
for more information about that.

Pat will take over administration of this Google Group on June 30. If
you would like to e-mail her your welcome and congratulations, her
address is Pat at jpduua dot org.

Thanks again for all of the work that you do on behalf of lifespan
faith development, religious education, and family ministries. Keep
the faith, and may it bless and keep you.

Peace,
Rev. Lyn Cox
