dupe template question

After customizing the Beez 5 template, I downloaded the folder, renamed it and changed the <name> </name> in templateDetails.xml.

The newly named folder was uploaded and assigned as the new default.

Doing so however moved the left hand sidebar to a right hand sidebar.

I compared the index.php and .css files and found no differences.

Viewing the source code for the original beez5 template vs. the altered template found one major difference.

The original Beez5 displays div class left at line 99, BEFORE divs wrapper2 &main.

The altered template displays div class left at line 125 AFTER divs wrapper 2 & main.

Any ideas what might be causing this?
