Does anyone know where I can download Joomla 3.0 Alpha?

Kevin,

There is no Aplha release yet, but the Joomla master branch is now 3.0 (see https://groups.google.com/d/msg/joomlabugsquad/FsUbxO5OVoo/ACmnK1WYa2oJ for more details).

From that post:
  • 9 July: 3.0.0_Alpha1 -- this will contain only the new platform  version 12.2. This release is targeted to third-party extension  developers to test their extensions with the new 12.2 platform. 
  • 23 July: 3.0.0_Alpha2 -- this will contain the first round of new features for 3.0, based on what is ready at that time. 
  • Mid-August: 3.0.0_Beta1 -- this will contain most or all of the features for 3.0. 
  • Mid-to-late September: 3.0.0.
