В панели управления в joomla 3.0 есть проверка версии. Я так понимаю
автоматическое обновление как и в версии 2.5. Вручную обновил джумлу до
3.0.1, но все равно пишет в этом пункте Неизвестная версия Joomla. Когда
захожу далее, выдает ошибку:

В чём проблема, куда копать? Или просто данный функционал не работает ещё

Check your database table '#__update_sites' field 'location'. I was have
the same problem, one of links was bad. I was delete bad link and
everething ok.
