1. Joomla! 1.6 Release Schedule and Process

• General agreement that the previous week's meeting with the Release Team was helpful and good.
• Discussion about holding a meeting between the Release Team and Development Coordinators.
• Discussion about proposed milestones to completion of the 1.6 release.
• Discussion about the relative merits of proposed ACL solution.
• Development Coordinators to make a decision on an ACL solution if the Release Team are unable to by Saturday, September 19.
  

Actions

• Louis, Sam, Mark and Ian to meet with Release Team regarding final features for 1.6 and other items for discussion.

2. Joomla! 1.6 Release Communication Strategy

• Discussion about announcing target dates for alpha2 or beta milestones.
• General consensus that periodical (most likely weekly) blog posts should be made about the progress and developments towards the 1.6 release.

Actions

• Make an announcement with specific target features that signify an Alpha2 milestone.
• Upon reaching the Alpha2 milestone announce a target date and expectations for the Beta milestone.
• Ask the release team to do a weekly blog post about the progress towards the 1.6 release.
• Leadership Team to do a weekly blog post discussing the current state of things and the outcome of the weekly meeting.
  

3. Production Working Group Budget for 2010

• Discussion about what to plan for in the budget request.
• General consensus to brainstorm suggestions of what we might like to do in the coming year that requires money.

Actions

• Start a mailing list thread to brainstorm line items for the 2010 production budget.
• Discuss ideas from the brainstorm at the next team meeting.
• Sam to ask OSM Treasurer for a list of Budget/Actual for the last few years relevant to production.
  

4. Developer Site / Joomla! Labs Planning

• Discussion about the status of Labs and the necessary tasks to launch it with the new Developer site.

Actions

• Ron to get site template ready.
• Louis to liaise with OSM on a terms of service.
• Someone to look into lighttpd crashes and fix.
• Someone to synchronize necessary content from the existing developer site.
• Someone to build a layout override and user plugin for agreeing to terms of service.
