1. Discussed expectations and goals for version 3.0 in September.
1. We would like to use Platform version 12.2, due out in July 2012.
2. Potentially a new admin template with improved user interface.

Joomla 1.5 Support Past April 2012

Hi folks. As you recall, our original plan was to stop official
support for version 1.5 in April 2012. There have been discussions in
several places, including the JSST, about this. I believe the
consensus of these is that we should extend support for security fixes
only past April 2012, probably at least until September 2012.

RC1 Release

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that we will be
releasing RC1 or Beta16 on 14 December, not 13 December.
We are very close to having version 1.6.0 RC1 ready to go. The plan is
to finish up testing patches in the next 16 hours or so. Then we will
make the final call for releasing RC1 in the PLT meeting.
