Please show me how Joomla save an article!

I am writing code to save an article. I search through Joomla code to
know how it saves an article. But I do not understand this fully.
I can't save an article with introduction text.
All I can do is save article to fulltext field. I check this by
viewing database with phpMyAdmin.
