Multisite Support in Joomla 3.0

Hello guys, I read reports about Joomla 3.0 have support multi sites, can anyone confirm if they have Joomla 3.0 native feature.

If I recall correctly, the last time this was discussed was after JAB, as part of the multi-site working group, and it was determined that there are too many different  approaches to multi-site to be able to choose one for the core. Part of the discussion was also that there are good 3pd extensions that allow you to achieve this once they are installed.

This was a very good discussion, so you might want to look it up in Google Groups if you are interested in reading it.

Prospective features always are just that until someone writes some code and people test it. People have ideas for releases but they may or may not get them done.

I think the feeling right now is that the goal is to make the various flavors of multisite  easier to implement by taking advantage of elements of the platform, perhaps writing necessary package for the cms library, and building in some infrastructure (such as the proposal to add back end access levels which I thought was good but never got any traction when it was proposed on list).
