Hi there!
I was digging a little on how to use JCategories to get a custom Admin
component to store geographic info as State (parent) and City (children).
The admin component will just maintain (edit, add, delete) that information
on the Joomla Categories under my component asset. This info will be used
on other components.

I was wondering if Joomla has any "automagically" feature to build the
admin interface to (add, edit, delete) those categories or should I go with
all the process?

Examining the content core component I couldn't see any functionality being
coded to take care of the categories...

Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers. Mike

They all use the same view from com_categories,  you just need to specify
the extension.
