Tutorials: Getting Started with Github

Hi everyone,

I just found this wonderful gem of documentation for github and Joomla:

The Joomla projected moved to github a while back and many extension developers have also moved and are moving to github as well for hosting their extensions.  If you're interested in how to use git, the tutorial above would be very useful for those wanting to learn how to use git via github.  The tutorial uses the Joomla CMS as the repository example because it was created for the Joomla Bug Squad, however the same concepts apply to github repositories in general. 

For the simplest method, I'd recommend using the TortoiseGit method as illustrated in the tutorial above.
