Joomla 1.7.3 of 2.5 ???

hi everybody,

I want to help in improving features of joomla 2.5. but I can't find
joomla 2.5. I get the file from this link:

as mentioned at community:

That's the right archive. It's still shown as version 1.7.3 for now. Mark

I just changed the link to

https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/downloads

and I suggest downloading the .tar.gz file as that one keeps the correct permissions.

The zip from github has every file and folder set to 755.
