Items associations in 3.x

Folks, we have here a patch by Benjamin Trenkle:

We really were waiting for this and could not get it in 2.5:
Implementing Items associations in multilanguage. Here for articles
and articles categories.

Patch looks real good here and, if tested OK and implemented, we can
go forward and pursue for the remaining core components.
I have also posted there a fully ready multilang db

Testers needed please, whether in momolanguage or multilanguage to
check nothing gets broken and all works fine.

As the patch touches multiple files, it would be great to commit it
before it is broken by a smaller patch touching one or more of the
files concerned.

Hi JM,

One small step for a man; one giant leap for community. :-)

I've tested on my own data and found some issues. As the item was closed
I added a new #29490 with some solution proposals.
Nice if you would check it.
