We've had a great number of issues updating TCPDF in the past because in our experience the library isn't very stable from release to release.  As such we don't generally merge in any updates to that library.

If someone really plans on future uptade this librarie, could also on upgrade, make avalible other functions of TCPDF?

On Joomla 1.5 only the very very very basic funcions of TCPDF works with joomla creations of they own PDFs from artigles, but for developers, have some more features, even if not are used on core, could help a lot, even if still possible for developer add the full library of TCPDF.

On Joomla 1.5 is not possible change portrait/landscape. At least this one, or other that if someone uptade these files see that is one good funcion and do not need so much lines of code for do it.

In 1.6 you can easily add libraries using the installer and I wonder
if someone would be willing to invest the time to make a library and
associated items available for distribution? I'm sure there will be
demand for it.

Good for me, Elin.

Anyway, would be good update a bit if possible the library, or at least someone check if, even if is not one up to date library, at least do not have some warning about security update since last 2 years.

If somebody wants to put the time in to develop a test plan then we can look at updating it for 1.5.23.  I'm really hesitant because we have been bitten hard in the past by regressions in TCPDF.  But if somebody wants to put in the leg work to provide us with reasonable confidence it won't break anything else too fantastically then we can do it.
