Tutorials: Getting Started with Github

Hi everyone,

I just found this wonderful gem of documentation for gitHub:
http://docs.joomla.org/Git_for_Testers_and_Trackers

The tutorial above would be very useful for those wanting to contribute to the Joomla CMS via Github, but don't quite know how to get started.

For the simplest method, I'd recommend using the TortoiseGit method as illustrated in the tutorial above.

I have good experience with GitExtensions (http://
gitextensions.googlecode.com/)

I think it supports most GIT commands and has a GitHub plugin.
The only thing I miss is removing remote branches. Could not find it
in there.

GitHub also released windows client
